William “Willie” Victor Pecorale, 84, of Effort, PA, formerly of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Genesis- Bethlehem South in Bethlehem, PA.
Born October 4, 1939 in New York, NY, Willie lived in Alexandria Township, NJ over 20 years before moving to Williams Township, PA, where he lived for many years. He worked as a machinist for Universal Patterns Company. Willie enjoyed restoring antique cars. He well-known for building engines, especially for drag racing cars. He was excellent at woodworking and carpentry, which allowed him to build his home himself, in Alexandria Township. Willie was a member of the St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ.
Son of the late William V. and Alice (McEnroe) Pecorale, Willie is survived by his three sons William Pecorale and his wife Pamela of Effort, PA, James Pecorale and his wife Toni Ann of Millstone, NJ, and Vincent Pecorale of Hellertown, PA, his sister JoAnn West, and his five grandchildren William, Gabriella, Angelina, Aubrey, and Braden. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Carol Pecorale in 2023, his brother Anthony Pecorale, and his sister Rose Fabeo.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ, followed by a Catholic Prayer Service at 12 PM with Father Bede Kim officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Alexandria Township, NJ.
