Wilton L. Pearson, 88, of Little York, Alexandria Township, NJ passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at his residence.

Born on August 25, 1921 in West New York, NJ, Wilton resided there prior to moving to Little York, NJ 20 years ago. He attended the public schools of West New York, NJ. He worked as an accountant for the American Bible Society in New York City for many years until retirement. Wilton attended the First United Church of Christ in Milford, NJ. He enjoyed the outdoors especially gardening and walking.

Son of the late Oscar and Elin Swenson Pearson, Wilton is survived by his sister-in-law, the Reverend Janice Pearson of Little York, NJ. He was predeceased by his brothers, Oscar R. Pearson, Sidney A. Pearson, and John C. Pearson; and sister, Eleanor Pearson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11 am at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow at Milford Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
