Condolences

From: Michael Nunn
I am a friend of Ned and have made music as well as friendships with some of them over the years. I am saddened at Norm’s passing, yet at the same time I’ve been uplifted by his spirit in such a way that my own mortality feels ever more like the journey than an end… a path to something perhaps greater, a state where the innocent are not made to suffer. Norm’s music (still) speaks to me about the simple kindnesses we can share when we so choose, and how just that - kindness - makes an entire life worth living. I shall miss him, until perhaps the next destination in this journey.

I was very saddened to hear about Norman's passing. He was a good friend and a good man. I still listen to his music quite often and think of him. I'm sorry that we weren't able to get together over these last years and regret that I won't be able to attend his memorial due to my own health reasons. My condolences to you all especially you Anna. I hope you are well and if I can do anything for you, please let me know. Steven

Worked with Norm for many years at the Council. The joke was , no matter how old I got, he was always 6 days older. His talents and creative energy were evident throughout our work. Sing on - Norm. We'll be listening.
