Henry M. O'Toole

Henry M. O’Toole, 86, of Whiting, Manchester Township, NJ, formerly of Milford, NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born March 13, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, Henry lived in Somerville, NJ and Whitehouse Station, NJ before moving to Milford, NJ in 1979. In 1974, he and his wife purchased the Brookside Inn in Milford, NJ, opening O’Tooles (Good Food and Drink), which they owned and managed for over thirty years, before retiring to Whiting, NJ. Henry loved traveling and trips to Atlantic City. Above all else, he loved family and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

Son of the late John J. and Florence M. (Michel) O’Toole, Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Georgette M. (Belanger) O’Toole, his daughter MaryEllen O’Toole of Baptistown, NJ, his two sons Kevin O’Toole of Newtown, PA and Keith O’Toole of Troutman, NC, his eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Kerry O’Toole in 2015, his brother John J. O’Toole, Jr., and his sister Dorothy Ryan.

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
